Strengthening a Country

The Industrial Revolution was revolutionary in many ways.  Two main examples are through people and technology.  The Industrial Revolution definitely changed the world.  In class we all got a topic and we had to search for ways that showed how the Industrial Revolution was very revolutionary.

The Industrial Revolution was revolutionary with people in three main ways.  First it improved farming, for example Roy Charles Townsend urged farmers to grow turnips which restored exhausted soil.  This was revolutionary because it made it easier to grow crops, and also it made life easier for the people.  Also the landowners pushed the peasants out which forced them to work in factories.  This helped the factories because it gave them more workers and that helped them complete tasks more quickly.  Lastly because of the agriculture revolution decrease the risk of famines. This made life easier for everyone.

Technology was revolutionary in two main ways.  First the steam engine was invented in 1717 to pump water out of mines to help dig deeper.  This helped the mine get more work done efficiently.  Technology also helped create a higher quality and less expensive iron.  This helps people because it costs less money and they get high quality.  It helped people become more advanced.

The Industrial Revolution made our country a more advanced place.  People may disagree but it improved an amazing amount of people's lives.  In my opinion the Industrial Revolution was a positive event that was outstandingly revolutionary.
